Work and Residence Permit:-
To work in Spain, a work and residence visa is required. An application for a work permit is not accepted by a foreigner if his status in Spain is not legal.
Visas are required from Spanish diplomatic missions in the country of origin, and in the special case they can be requested from other foreign countries. Request the visa in person.
Non-Profit Residence Visa:-
A visa to reside in Spain without engaging in any profitable activity (professional or work) as long as the person concerned has secured and sufficient means of subsistence in terms of having a stable monthly income and having enough money in the bank account. This visa does not allow work.
This visa can also be obtained by family members:
Husband or cohabiting partner
Children and parents who are dependent and are considered members of the family unit
Renewal of residence:-
Although many foreigners proceed with the procedure for renewing the residence card until it expires or a week or ten days before it expires, Spanish immigration law stipulates that within 60 days before the expiration of the residence and work permit, the foreigner must request its renewal. After submitting an application for renewal, the validity of the permit is extended and the Immigration Office responds to the application.
