It is a statue built by the Iraqi sculptor Muhammad Ghani Hikmat and is located in the Karkh side in the Mansoum area
This monument is a cylindrical column of broken stone and is about to fall, representing the Iraqi culture. On its side, there are a group of hands and arms surrounding it, as an expression of their attempt to support it so that the culture does not fall. Symbols and writing in cuneiform script were written on it, meaning: “From here the writing began.”
